I wanted to share some information with you regarding our Company and how we are enhancing our services as a result of Covid-19.
We have been really surprised to see that the demand for our services has significantly increased. We are seeing record high interest levels. Not only are we continuing to have members wanting to be seen, inbound calls are also coming in from those wanting to purchase insurance.
Because of what is occurring, not everyone wants an in-home visit which is understandable.
What we have done to help with this is arrange for virtual meetings.
These can be used during this time to allow our representatives and your members to meet.
This is so those members have the opportunity to provide protection for their family should they choose to do so.
This has not been an option in the past.
We wanted to make you aware of what we will be doing as we navigate through these next few weeks and perhaps months.
We will continue to monitor the CDC recommendations and will follow those closely. I do want to thank you for your confidence in American Income (or National Income) by allowing us to provide services to your membership.
If you have any questions that we can help with,
please let us know what those are and we will be glad to help.

Kym Short has taken a new position at the IUE International in Moraine, OH
Leigh Shilt will be the new benefit Rep Available at the hall. She will be assisting our members
Her phone number is Kym's old number at the hall 937-224-5217
Under normal hours she will be there Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
The exception to that is when Local 801 retirees have their meeting.
The days then change to Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
December 7, 2017 open enrollment ends.
Changes are coming to our supplemental health care insurance plans.
It is in the best interest of our members to be at the next meeting.
Check the home page for that meeting date.

DATELINE: SEPTEMBER 4, 2017
Thousands of veterans will be eligible to shop online at military exchange websites.
This will begin starting on 11 November 2017. This is thanks to a policy change by the Defense Department.
The initiative, which was first announced in January 2017 will apply to veterans
who have received VERIFY.ORG
After being verified, participants will be eligible once the program launches the shop tax-free at any of the four sites operated by the Army and Air Force exchanges:
MY NAVY EXCHANGE
SHOP CGX
SHOP MY EXCHANGE
However, they will remain ineligible to shop inside physical exchange locations.
About 13 million veterans are reportedly potentially qualified to make use of the online program.
