HIDDEN SECRETS ( ALMOST ) ABOUT OUR AUTO AND TRUCK TIRES
If you buy your tires from a high volume dealer (i.e.) like Tire Rack.com or Simple Tire.com
you will lose very little of your real warranty. Not to mention saving some dough out of your budget.
You can also get a great deal on Bilstein shock absorbers. The savings are very good.
Bilstein is rated among the best available.

They are available through the links above also.
Many shops in the area will install these tires ( or shocks ) of choice for the normal mounting and balancing fee.
There is a dirty little secret a number of us learned the hard way years ago.
When we bought new tires, the dealer told us we had a 2 or 3 year warranty.
When a problem came up, we learned that we did not have the warranty that was implied to us.
A message is molded on the back side of the tire. Where it is hard to see, naturally.
Yes. Our tires came with the warranty. However, the warranty is from the date of manufacture.
If the tire sat in a warehouse for 6 months and in the dealers shop for a year, it gets nasty at this point.
This means that a year and a half of our warranty was expired when we bought the tire in question.
Now isn't that just lovely !
In Europe, the law says the information has to face the outside of the car.
This makes it easy to see what the owner really has.
Here in the States, that information is facing under the bottom of the car. ( The chassis )
I wonder whose idea that was ?
